“Around the future: 3D printing for jewellery” exhibition at Vicenzaoro

Last Thursday I went to the Vicenzaoro jewellery fair in Vicenza, a city in Northern Italy not too far from Venice. There I visited the “Around the future: 3D printing for jewellery” exhibition curated by Alba Cappellieri, Professor of Jewellery Design at Politecnico di Milano. The Exhibition showcased a selection of work by international designers from Italy, United States, Israel, Taiwan, Holland, England, and Japan, who use 3D printing technologies for their jewellery designs. It showed how the new technologies are influencing the design and the production process.
