I offer different collections of 3D printed jewelry carefully finished by hand that highlight the aesthetics and possibilities of digital fabrication. As a digital artisan, I explore the possibilities given by open source software, creative coding and 3D printing, combining these tools with traditional techniques and handwork.

POLYAMIDE BRACELETS

Bracelets designed using coding as a tool for generating elaborate shapes. They are created combining innovative digital technologies with the individuality of handwork. Each piece is digitally crafted, 3D printed by sintering the polyamide material with a precision laser and carefully finished by hand.

 

BRONZE RINGS

Rings created combining digital fabrication with the ancient technique of lost wax casting. Each ring is unique, digitally crafted, printed in wax using a specialized high-resolution 3D printer and subsequently cast in bronze from an individual plaster mold. As a final step each piece is carefully finished by hand.

 

STEEL RINGS

Rings with an intriguing surface texture derived from a special technique for 3D printing metal. They are digitally designed, 3D printed by binding together layers of stainless steel powder and thereafter infused with bronze. At the end a dark patina is applied and each piece is finished by hand.

 

POLYAMIDE PENDANTS

Pendants highlighting the capabilities of 3D printing with their intricate form showing a unique tactility. The complex geometric shape allows for different wearing options. They are digitally crafted, 3D printed by sintering the polyamide material with a precision laser and carefully finished by hand.

Geometric structures that can be worn as pendants, earrings, brooches, or simply displayed as objects. They are one of a kind, created combining digital fabrication with the ancient technique of lost wax casting. Each structure is firstly 3D printed in wax, then cast in bronze from a individual mold, and finally carefully finished by hand.
